In all over Caribbean there are only two islands divided by a land border, Hispaniola (shared by Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and the island of Saint Martin. The southern part of the latter is called Sint Maarten and belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It sounds exciting, but the densely populated island has little to offer to visitors. The same applies to the northern, French part called Saint Martin.
