After a whole day in the city, for a change, we went to El Arcotete Park, in close proximity to San Cristóbal. It was a relaxing day. There are short nature trails and hanging bridges. Among the rocks, we had to find the way to the cave, which is high up in the cliff.

We came across a French family of overlanders with a toddler. They traveled in a camper they brought from Europe. They camped here alone in El Arcotete Park and told us that they came here to stay away from others and wait out the coronavirus pandemic. They were sure that the worst is about to come very soon. They had taken precautions to stay safe, “this should be over in a month or so,” we heard from them.
