With the 700-meter defensive wall, Szydłów, Poland is a unique town. Inside the walls, modern, uninteresting architecture of the times of the People's Republic of Poland dominates. Only a few old buildings have survived here. During a short visit, we visited partaly restored Polish Royal Castle from the 14th century, two medieval churches and a late Renaissance synagogue.
