A medieval stronghold first stood in Raduň (Czechia). It was completely rebuilt in the second half of the 16th century; the castle was transformed into a Renaissance palace. Later changes introduced the classicist style. After the end of World War II, the nationalization carried out by the Czechoslovak government took the Raduň Palace away from their owners.
