Standing on a hill, the Hukvaldy Castle, Czechia was surrounded by a thick wall with many towers. It consisted of six parts separated by five gates. The fortification covers an area of more than 300 meters in length. The oldest part of the castle dates back to the 13th century. Hukvaldy was a guard castle on the trade route from Olomouc to Kraków.
