Manhattan is an island surrounded by Hudson and East Rivers. This is a heart of New York City, world’s financial and cultural center. The tall buildings known as skyscrapers form Manhattan’s famous skyline.

World Trade Center became a target of terrorist attack. On September 11, 2001 around nine o'clock two hijacked planes hit the WTC. Initially everyone thought that this was a terrible accident. Later we all learned about terrorist attack on New York City. Manhattan skyline changed forever.
