Located at 11 Wall Street - The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) - building completed in 1903 replaced a modest five-story predecessor on the site. The first Exchange, opened in 1817, was quartered in a rented house nearby. The pediment of current structure, above massive Corinthian columns, holds allegorical statues representing “commerce”. |
