Toliara is the largest city in the south-west coast of Madagascar, nearly 1,000 km from the capital of Antananarivo. Crowded Toliara has absolutely nothing to offer to visitors. Polluted bay, flooded with water after rain, or dusty and hot from the sun streets, this is not a place worth of attention. However, this town is a starting for trips to Ifaty Spiny Forest to the north or Saint-Augustin to the south.
