In may opinion Utah is one of the best ski destinations in the United States. Snowbird is a nice place. I like the terrain here. There are cliffs, moguls, trees and many steep trails above forest level. I do not like groomed snow; this is why I like skiing there. Snowbird rises to a height of 3,300 m /11,000 ft. Taking the aerial tram to the top of Hidden Peak, gives you 950 vertical meters (3,240 vertical feet) of thigh burning turns, top to bottom.

Snowbird's resort village lies at a height of 2,450 m /8,100 ft at the the feet of mountains.
