A blaze with colored blinking neon and very loud music inside Pachinko (pachin, slap and ko a ball) seems to be Japanese national amusement. Pachinko is vertical pinball game with hundreds of balls bearings clatter along the pins and traps on the machine. Players spend hours twiddling a knob with one hand and cigarette in other. Prizes include sweets, tobacco products and designers' gadgets. |
