Formed by a single volcano Kaua’i is geologically Hawaii’s first island and the first "discovered" by the white man. The mountains with deep valleys, steep cliffs, untouched rain forest and picturesque waterfalls dominate this circular island. The highest peek on Kaua’i - the remainder of the volcano - is one of the wettest points on Earth. |
