Viti Levu island in Fiji has mixed population. Indigenous Fijians are minority and Indians (descendants of workers brought from India by the British) dominate on the island. For me this island looks more Asian than South Pacific. Towns are very crowded with plenty of little stores. Boring concrete, dust and dirt. The only interesting parts of the island are highlands, were old Fijian villages like Navala can be found.
