9/11 Memorial

Water is a symbol of life. September 11 Memorial is the sanctuary with big waterfalls. The constant movement of water falling down the vertical walls deep into the underground is for us to remember that almost 3000 lives were lost in terrorist attracts of 1993 and 2001. Rectangular Twin Towers' footprints surrounded by names inscribed in bronze, symbolize the void left the destroyed buildings. The sound of water covers the sacred place isolating it from the noise of the surrounding city. The water itself creates an atmosphere of reflection.
